The proverb 'bear the same problem, enjoy the same happiness' is very suitable for the collaboration between FA Selangor (FAS) and The Lost Food Project (TLFP) to help the needy around Klang Valley.

The 'Rice Bucket Challenge' campaign is to provide enough basic food and necessities to the average and low-income families that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic that is hitting the world. Among the food and necessities needed are rice, bread, soap, hand sanitizer, toiletries and more.

A total of three Selangor players, Wan Zack Haikal Wan Nor, Sean Selvaraj and Ashmawi Yakin took part in this challenge by uploading their photos and videos on social media with a bucket containing items that will be donated to The Lost Food Project. Yasmin Hani, Maya Karin and Sharifah Amani are among the local celebrities that are involved in this challenge.

“In conjunction with World Food Day which falls on October 16, we feel that this is one of the right initiatives to help families who need help especially those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope this assistance can help to ease their burden in providing basic daily needs for their families,” said Dr. Johan Kamal Hamidon as Selangor FA Secretary General.

3) Take a picture or video of your bucket at home
4) Upload your photos or videos on social media site and tag your 3 friends to complete this challenge
